Female lawyers from the city of Raqqa voiced their condemnation of the  internationally hatched plot against leader Abdullah Ocalan, as they called on the international community to move immediately and to pressurize Turkish authorities to release the leader.

With the advent of the 22nd annual anniversary of the international plot on leader Ocalan, popular and social reactions and activities continue to denounce the plot.  

In this relation, tens of female lawyers from the city of Raqqa rallied in front of Social Justice Court in the city of Raqqa, in condemnation of the plot that targeted leader Ocalan.

In the rally a statement was read by Rihab al-Dafi', co-chair of the Legislative Council. 

'' on behalf of all female lawyers of North Eastern Syria, we condemn and denounce with the strongest and blatant words the international plot against leader Abdullah Ocalan, on Feb 15th, 1999, that gave an impetus to the repressed peoples to strengthen bids and insist on gaining freedom.

It was adumbrated that holding leader Ocalan in a solitary confinement amid tightened measures of isolation all contravene the internationally recognized rights of the political detainees. 

'' the sole way to foil such schemes is the national unity and an increase in the organized fight, and the unity of the Kurdish people'', and that defending leader is the defence of culture, identity, land and history, for this to be gained we all ought to be one hand to call for leader's release.

The statement was concluded with a call for the international community, all feminist associations and the UN Security Council to put pressure on Turkey to release leader Abdullah Ocalan, to materialize his project of the democratic nation on the ground.
