+100 air strike … Russian warplanes target Syrian Desert

On Saturday, Russian warplanes carried out more than 100 air strikes on the Syrian desert, most of them concentrated in the eastern countryside of Hama, coinciding with the continuing search for ISIS mercenaries.

Russian warplanes continue to launch air strikes on areas in the Syrian Badia, where yesterday, Friday, about 50 strikes were carried out, in addition to 4 air strikes by the Damascus government forces, according to what was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

This brings the total number of airstrikes over the past 48 hours to more than 150.

In a related context, ISIS mercenaries launched a surprise attack on government forces' sites in the vicinity of the al-Taim oil field, south of Deir-ez-Zor, about 13 km from it, and violent clashes took place between the two parties during the past hours, accompanied by mutual targeting and confirmed information about dead and wounded on both sides.

SOHR had previously reported the killing of 19 members of the Damascus government forces, including 11 groups loyal to Iran, during an attack carried out by ISIS mercenaries on government sites east of Hama.
