Al-Mashour clan: We stand with AA, SDF to repel Turkish aggression

Sheikh Jassem Abd al-Hamada al-Jassem said in an interview with our agency: "Al-Mashour clan with a population of about a hundred and fifty thousand people extending from Deir ez-Zor to the areas of Tel Abyad and Suluk all stand with the Autonomous Administration, and on one front with the Syrian Democratic Forces to repel any Turkish aggression on the north and east regions of Syria, especially on Ain Issa."

Our regions prospered with the Syrian Democratic Forces' presence

The sheikh of Al-Mashour clan (which is one of Al-Baggara tribes in Deir ez-Zor, which is considered the most important tribe in Syria in general and its east in particular) added: "The areas in north Syria have been exposed to destruction and displacement after all the elements of life, agriculture and health flourished in the years of SDF existence."

Sheikh Jassem Abd al-Hamada al-Jassem stressed that "the Arab tribes will not be satisfied with any alternative to the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces as their legitimate representative in all international forums, after their liberation (in an indication to the Arab tribes) from ISIS mercenaries who were supported by Turkey with equipment and recruited to work for it."

He called for "finding a solution to the Syrian issue and save the Syrian people from the scourges of war that they have gone through during the past 11 years, in addition to the need to recognize the Autonomous Administration, whether by the Syrian government or other regional countries."

Sheikh Jassem Abd al-Hamada al-Jassem denounced "the Russian role when it included the M4 al-Hasakah_Aleppo road," adding: "Unfortunately, Russia has not abided by its pledge and the agreements it concluded with Turkey that the free army led by the authoritarian army and policy that has exploited the Arab countries for four hundred years (referring to Turkey) must not advance," pointing to the Turkish rule of Arab countries over four hundred years, "it provided nothing but delay in development, fighting peoples and eliminating the principles of humanity."

The sheikh denounced "the Russian role and the global silence regarding what Turkey is doing of demographic change in the region through the displacement of indigenous people, looting antiquities and cutting down trees."

Jassem Abd al-Hamada al-Jasem asserted that "with his clan members, he will not dispense the martyrs who have charted the path to freedom and democracy for all components and stand together and in one trench to repel the Turkish aggression." He continued: "Turkey has embraced ISIS mercenaries and al-Nusra terrorists, and supplied them with weapons and ammunition along the Turkish-Syrian border strip in recent years. He added: "The Turkish policy does not fight terrorism, but rather the Autonomous Administration, the democratic nation and the peoples' fraternity project which is the first model that unites peoples."
