Young Women remembers martyrs of Paris, Slubee and Helanj massacres in Kobane

The Young Women's Union in the Euphrates region revived the 8^th anniversary of the martyrdom of three female strugglers in Paris on January 9, 2013 at the hands of Turkish intelligence.

To commemorate them and a number of other female strugglers, the Young Women's Union lit candles around the pictures of the of the Paris massacre's martyrs and Helanj massacre's martyrs who were martyred last year while being targeted by a drone for the Turkish occupation in the town of Helanj, in addition to the martyrs of the massacre committed in Slubee of Bakur Kurdistan against three female strugglers at the hand of the Turkish occupation too.

During the memorial ceremony, the co-chair of the Youth and Sports Body, Khonaf Khalil, delivered a speech in which she affirmed that "the massacre of Helanj, which targeted the three martyrs, is a continuation of Paris massacre and that the enemies of life and freedom do not allow women to advance their revolution and struggle. Therefore, women around the world must realize the truth and importance of the revolutionary struggle, continue it until the freedom of women of the whole world is achieved."

This was followed by a short film in the presence of dozens of Kobane residents, which showed excerpts from the biographies of the struggle of Sakine Cansız  and her companions who were martyred in the Paris massacre, and the challenges faced the struggler Sakine Cansız in Turkish prisons, along with dozens of prisoners.

The commemoration ceremony was concluded by chanting slogans that glorified the martyrs and saluted the struggle of women.
