AA decides to extend the partial curfew to January 19

The co-presidency of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration, and based on the decisions of the Crisis Cell in northern and eastern Syria, issued Decision No. 3 of 2021, which extends the partial curfew in all regions from January 5 to January 19 inclusive.

The text of the decision stated the following:

The partial curfew imposed in all areas of the Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria will be extended for 15 days, starting from this morning, Tuesday, 1/5/2021, until 1/19/2021, implicitly.

According to the following:

1-All shops and stores selling food and vegetables are opened, to be closed at five in the evening, with the exception of major markets (bazaars, Friday market, Sunday market ...)

2-All schools, universities and educational facilities shall be opened while preserving health prevention and measures.

3-It is allowed for the movement of buses leaving and coming to and from the areas of Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria.

4-All places of worship shall be closed except for Friday prayers and Sunday masses, with all preventive measures taken.

5-All major gatherings (wedding halls - funeral tents - meetings - conferences) are prohibited under penalty of liability.

6-All citizens and workers in the Autonomous Administration institutions must wear masks, adopt personal protective equipment, and social distancing in all places, and make them part of their daily lives until the end of this pandemic.

7- Each of the Autonomous and Civil administrations has the right to issue the necessary decision regarding COVID 19 pandemic, according to the situation, and in a manner that does not conflict with the previous provisions.

It is reported that the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration announced, on Monday, that it had recorded a death and 14 cases of Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria, the lowest number in nearly two months.
