In spirit of prisons' resistance, we to fail conspiracy, live free with leader Ocalan

The activities of the hunger strike campaign began yesterday in Kobane city, which will continue until the 9^th of this month, with the participation of 30 people from the Martyrs' Families Council of Kobane, in solidarity with the hunger strike campaign launched by detainees in Turkish prisons 39 days ago under the slogan "It Is Time for Freedom" with the aim of lifting the isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Yesterday, the Martyrs' Families Council in the Euphrates region set up a hunger strike tent in the Martyr Agîd Square under the slogan "We Are in Time of Freedom, Stop Isolation, Freedom for Leader Ocalan" to support the hunger strike campaign in Turkish prisons.

On the second day of the strike activity, the Revolutionary Youth Union visited the tent after they had gathered in the Free Woman Square and set off in a march towards the Martyr Agîd Square, chanting the slogan "In Spirit of Prisons' Resistance, We Will Fail the Conspiracy and Live Free with the Leader Abdullah Ocalan."

After reaching the tent location, Anwar Sheikho, the Spokesman for the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Youth in the Euphrates region delivered a statement to the public opinion on behalf of the Revolutionary Youth, which read:

"The Turkish fascism continues to violate all international laws with its attacks and occupation of Kurdish regions, and is not content with just occupying it, but also violating international laws, and it increases its tyrannical activities aimed at breaking the will of peoples demanding freedom, by imprisoning Kurdish parliamentarians and civilians.

As imprisoning the free Kurds by the Turkish occupier increased, the pace of struggle also increased with heroic resistance in the occupier's prisons by the free Kurds. This heroic resistance derived its strength from the resistance of the leader APO, the martyr Mazloum Dogan and his comrades in the occupation prisons.

From here, Steadfastness Fortress, Kobane, we salute our heroes for their heroic resistance by organizing a hunger strike in the Turkish fascist prisons. We, as the youth of the Democratic Union Party, say that we are with you side by side, and we call on all categories of the people to join the resistance and struggle to confront the practices of the Turkish occupation state."

After that, the Qanayah District Council, west of Kobane, visited the hunger strike tent, and the Co-chair of the Council, Suad Aladmer, gave a speech in which she praised the role of hunger strikers in the prisons of the occupation state, and the solidarity of those who joined the hunger strike tent in the city of Kobane.

She emphasized in her speech that the Turkish occupation state will not undermine the will that they possessed thanks to the sacrifices of the great martyrs, especially the martyr Mazloum Dogan and his comrades.
