The movements of the Turkish occupation army and its attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, especially the areas adjacent to the occupied villages, starting from Ain Issa district, passing through the town of Tal Tamr, reaching the town of Zarkan, especially since the recent moves coincide with violent attacks on the Ain Issa district, which are matched by Russian and American Silence, the guarantors of the ceasefire agreement with Turkey.

In recent days, mobilizations and movements of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have been observed, bringing in heavy equipment and weapons along the front lines, especially the town of Zarkan, which is only 1 km from the occupied villages, and is considered a zero point.

In this context, tribal notables in Al-Jazeera region held Russia and America responsible for violating the agreements that were concluded and for not carrying out their responsibilities despite their presence and concentration in the region.

Sheikh Fathi, one of the notables of al-Sheikhan clan in the Zarkan district, says in this context: “After the Turkish occupation attacks on Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain and Zarkan last year, a large number of people fled to the city of al-Hasakah, the villages of Tal Tamr and the Assyrian villages, and gradually returned to their villages after days and chose to remain steadfast in Their homes. "

The area is being shelled on daily basis

He pointed out that the people have fears of launching new attacks on the area, indicating that the area is almost daily exposed to targeting by the Turkish occupation mercenaries who are only about one kilometer away from the town.

Sheikh Fathi explained that a year ago, the people used to live safely, but now they live in the frontline, pointing out that there is a danger threatening them, as a result of the constant threats to attack the area.

On the recent military build-ups, Sheikh Fathi said, "There are several military points bordering the town of Zarkan, in which heavy military equipment is concentrated on only one kilometer."

He added: "The elements of the Damascus government are stationed on the demarcation lines from Tal Tamr to Zarkan and the village of Kasrah, knowing that there is a Russian presence to monitor the lines, however, the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the vicinity of Zarkan and the road between Zarkan and Tal Tamer and between Zarkan and the village of Kasrah have not stopped."

SDF is committed to the agreement, but the attacks have not stopped, and the international community is silent.

Sheikh Fathi criticized the silence of the forces present in the area, and their lack of any stance or reaction, and said: “We have not heard any response and there is international silence on these attacks, there is no movement or permission to condemn the attacks, knowing that there is an agreement that each force will move 6 kilometers from the front line, as the Syrian Democratic Forces committed themselves to the agreement.

And he called on the countries of the world, decision-makers and the United Nations to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

In the conclusion of his speech, Sheikh Fathi stressed that there is no way for them except for solidarity and cohesion, to confront any attack targeting the security and stability of their regions.
