Unknown aircraft targets pro –Iranian groups in Deir al-Zor

An unknown aircraft raided a military post held by pro-Iranian groups in the region of Hawi Gharbi region at the outskirts of the city of al-Mayadin in eastern Deir al-Zor, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, ambulance were seen as going to the scene of targeting, as pro-Iranian groups cordoned off the area, amid confirmed reports of deaths and injuries of so-called Afghan Fatimiyoun Brigade.

On November 26^th, 2020, unknown aircraft, more likely Israeli, conducted aerial raids on posts held by Pro-Iranian groups in the countryside of Mayadin, in eastern Deir al-Zor.

Headquarters and posts held by Zainabyoun Brigade in the scope of the Jala' and Hamdan deserts to the west of the al-Bukamal city in eastern Deir al-Zor were targeted that led to the deaths of 19 elements of whom two commanders of such groups, in addition to damages caused to their posts.

In the same November, posts held by pro-Iranian groups in rural al-Bukamal in eastern Deor al-Zor, were targeted by more likely by Israeli aircraft that led to the deaths of 14 Afghan and Iraqi nationalities.
