HPG reveals 2 of its fighters martyred in legitimate defense zones

The Media Center of the Peoples' Defense Forces issued a written statement announcing the record of two fighters who were martyred in the legitimate defense areas.

The statement reads: “On February 20, 2017, the companion of our path Şerzan (Arafat Balta) joined the convoy of martyrs as a result of an air raid carried out by the Turkish occupation state in Sêgirê area in Amediyê.

On August 13, 2018, companion of our path Mervan (Ramazan Uçdag) was martyred as a result of an air strike in Garê region.

HPG, at the end of its statement, directed its condolences to the families of the two martyrs, all the families of the martyrs and the Patriotic Kurdistan people, and renewed the pledge to continue the struggle until the goals of the martyrs are achieved.
