The open campaign of the hunger strike that was launched by political prisoners held at Turkish jails proceeds, with the aim isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan lifted, and to put an end to pressure and human rights violations inside jails.

An open hunger strike campaign was launched by political prisoners held at Kurdistan and Turkish jails calling for an end to the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan held at the Imrali Island Prison, and to put an end to human rights breaches, as it enters day 17, the campaign proceeds on with the participation of the fourth group. 

Some detainees were able to talk to their families via mobile phones said:'' echo our voice, support our resistance and be at our side, fight with us to put an end to this fascism''.
