A while ago, a delegation from the Belgian Federal Parliament accompanied by representatives of the Belgian civil society institutions arrived at the External Relations Center of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in the city of Qamishlo, after arriving this morning to the region through Semalka border crossing.

According to our correspondent, the visiting delegation included " Members of the Belgian Federal Parliament Georges Dalmani and Quinn Mesto, Director of the International Association of Terrorism Victims Philippe Vanstetkiste, Member of the Association Rudy Melek, and Executive Chairman of Child Focus for Support and Prevention of Missing, Abducted and Sexually Exploited Children Heidi de Paolo."

The visiting delegation was received in the building of the External Relations Department in the Autonomous Administration by "the Co-chair of the External Relations Department in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Abdel Karim Omar, his Deputy Fener Kaait, and Representative of the Autonomous Administration in Europe Mezagin Ahmed.""

In the meantime, a closed meeting in front of the media brings the two parties together.

This is the second visit of the Belgian government to the regions of north and east Syria, after a similar delegation visited with Belgian journalists on February 23 this year.
