The agreement signed on October 9, which coincided with the 21st anniversary of the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, was seen by the people of Şengal as a step to subjugate the Şengal people by the Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

'New plot against the Kurds'

member of the Democratic Union Party, Suleiman Khalil, explained that what is happening in Şengal is "a continuation of the Justice and Development Party's conspiracy on the four parts of Kurdistan, especially since Şengal is the center of the Yazidi religion."

Khalil described the agreement that took place on Şengal between the government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) as a "big mistake."

"In 2014, when ISIS attacked the Sinjar region, both the Iraqi forces and the Kurdistan Democratic Party withdrew from it," Khalil added.

The eradication of Yazidi religion and seeks to foil AA's project

And Khalil indicated that "the Justice and Development Party is trying to empty Şengal of its people, eradicate the Yazidi religion and seeks to foil AA project that was established in that region, and weaken the will of Şengal    people."

Khalil asked, "How can the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Masoud Barzani forget when ISIS faraway just 14 Km from Hawler, and supported it by HPG, where thousands of its elements martyred in order to protect Hawler from Daesh.

He added, "Now we see that the attacks do not stop against HPG, which supported Başûr government in its crises, and we see itself providing assistance to the Turks to undermine these forces."

'Sedition is being hatched by Turks

In his turn, a member of the political bureau of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, Hussein Al-Ali, said, "The people of Şengal defended themselves, formed their AA, and ran themselves through it. Why are the governments of Baghdad and the KDP trying to destabilize Şengal 's security and stability?"

Al-Ali stressed that "this agreement is a sedition behind the Turkish state, because it knows that this agreement will create a war between the Kurdish people."
