New Quarantine Facility to be set up at Qamishlo
Preparations are under way by the Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to commence work at new quarantine facility to fight the Covid- 19 Pandemic in the city of Qamishlo of Rojava.
In a bid to curb the outbreak of the Covid- 19 Pandemic and provide proper treatment for the infected people, the Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is to open a number of quarantine facilities in various areas as well as taking preemptive and cautionary measures to fight the virus, of which a four- stored quarantine facility that is going to be opened in the city of Qamishlo.
Co-chair of the the Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Joan Mustafa, said quarantine facilities would be set up in all cities in north eastern Syria, adding: ''Qamishlo is one of the biggest cities and it is expected to record an increase in the cases, so we are taking all necessary measures to make the facility ready within days'' .
Mustafa noted that for the situation not to get out of control a total curfew was imposed on such big cities, on which a decrease in the new cases has been observed.
