On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the founding and launching of the party, our agency (ANHA) held an interview with the parents of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement's martyrs on the importance and presence of PKK on the Kurdish landscape in the four parts of Kurdistan, where Mohamed Abdel Aziz said: "When we talk about PKK, we can say that it is the party of science and knowledge and the party of martyrs which protected the conscience of all humanity."

He went on to say: "The Kurdish people have lived through periods when hope was lost in these revolutions, especially with the end of classic clan revolutions that were suppressed by the colonial and occupying powers. Fortunately for the Kurdish people, PKK was found, it possess thought and knowledge because its founders are genuine strugglers and thought, knowledge-holders.

Abdel Aziz said: "The thought and philosophy of PKK founder, Abdullah Ocalan, reached out to all parts of the world. Thanks to Ocalan's project, the peoples of the region live in fraternity, peaceful co-existence and social justice, so that by their participatory struggle, they established the Autonomous Administration, and operate institutionally more than any experienced governments."

In turn, the mother of two martyrs, Rabiaah Mohamed, said: "Thanks to leader Abdullah Ocalan, I was introduced to PKK, so we have become interested in it by getting to know the leader and his objectives."

Rabiaah added: "Had it not been for the leader, we would have not known the value and rights of women who were held captive to outdated customs and traditions. Leader Abdullah Ocalan gave women the right to play their role in all aspects of life."

The mother of two martyrs, Salma Hassen, also spoke: "The Kurdish people would have no existence until PKK founding, and had it not been for the leader and PKK, there would have been no role for the Kurdish people in the region, especially in the light of the occupying states for Kurdish."

Salma confirmed: "We are on the party's path and march because PKK has made enormous sacrifices for the freedom of the Kurdish people, which have never been made by the leaders of the Kurdish revolutions."

Salma concluded: "The mothers of martyrs vowed to follow the march and the struggle of PKK, and to endure their responsibilities for the victory of this party which has made greatest sacrifices for the freedom and dignity of peoples."
