YPJ said in a statement

To public opinion

We respectfully recall our companionship, Bêrîvan Rizgar, offer our condolences to her patriotic family, and renew our promise to avenge her and all our martyr comrades.

Our companion Bêrîvan Rizgar, real name, Jihan Mesto, joined the ranks of the Women's Protection Units in the midst of the fierce fighting in the Kobani war, and on November 18, she joined the convoys of martyrs at the Abu Surra front, which is affiliated with Ain Issa district, after the bombing of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.

Our companion was also a witness to the defeat of the caliphate in Deir-ez-Zor, where she fought and resisted alongside hundreds of YPJ fighters valiantly, as they granted the world the good news of victory, and they also avenged the Yazidi women with their revenge and freed dozens.

Recently, our companion was on the front lines from the Abu Surra front in Ain Issa district, in defense of her homeland and its people, and there she joined the convoy of martyrs while carrying out its military duties.

Therefore, we in the Women's Protection Units offer our condolences to the family of the martyr Bêrîvan Rizgar, and pledge revenge for all the martyrs, and we say the time for freedom has come, and we must all move and protect our language, our country and our democratic project. "
