On Barzani's statements to wage war against the Kurdish Liberation Movement in Garê mountains and other regions, and his demand to remove the forces that protect the Kurds from the regions of Başur, our correspondent surveyed Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood people's views.

Guerrilla protected Şengal and Başûr from ISIS

Citizen Zelukh Ahmed denounced the KDP-Turkey cooperation in fighting the Kurdish Liberation Movement, and said: “We do not accept any Kurdish-on-Kurdish fighting because it serves the interest of the Turkish state.”

She says: "If it were not for the Guerrilla forces, ISIS mercenaries would have taken control of Başur Kurdistan, but they protected the Yazidis from genocide and massacres."

She called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party "to resort to the dialogue table, and unify their ranks to protect their culture, language and regions from the plans of the Turkish state."

Masoud disavows his identity

As for the citizen Fazaa Khalil, she indicated: “Masoud Barzani says that he is a Kurd and at the same time shakes hands with the enemies of the Kurdish people, and fights his Kurdish brothers, so why does Masoud vindicate his culture and identity in this way? How could he fight his Kurdish brother who was protecting the Kurdish people in Kurdistan? Does he claim to be a defender of the Kurds?

Masoud’s policy is no different from Erdogan’s

As for the citizen Delshan Othman, she denounced the statements of Masoud Barzani, calling for the removal of Guerrilla fighters from Şengal, and said: “The policy of Masoud Barzani is not different from the policy of the Turkish state, headed by Erdogan, and this statement is evidence that Turkey asked him to thwart Kurdish national unity.”
