Turkish Occupation Army has entered upon setting up a concrete fence across the border line between Rojava and Bakur, Northern Kurdistan.

Days ago, the fence was set upon from the police station of Magharat Al-Waqi' in the village of Sofi Salem and that of Basrun in Bakur Kurdistan adjacent to the village of Kharab Reşkê Ber Avê of the Derik Region to the village of Rihaniye in Bakur Kurdistan adjacent to the village of Zuhairiya in Ber Avê in Derik.

This comes as an accomplishment to the fence that was built up by Turkish Occupation Army in north and east Syria and Bakur Kurdistan, that was set upon in 2016, across 688 km to be the third longest world-wide.

But the Turkish policy did not stop here alone, rather it set upon a fence around the city of Afrin in 2019, in particular in the village of Gilbirê, 8 km to the south eastern to the city, with the aim to annex it.
