Libyan Army: Turkey manipulates, it does not want political solution

On Sunday, the western Libyan airspace has been active with the upcoming Turkish military aviation, as sites specialized in monitoring aviation traffic revealed that two Turkish cargo planes took off from Al-Wattaya Air Base in western Libya, one of them headed to Misrata.

The Administrator of the Libyan Army's Moral Counseling Department, Major General Khaled Al-Mahjoub, suggested that these aircraft are loaded with weapons, ammunition, military equipment, and Turkish officers who come to Libya on a rotation basis, indicating that this indicates that Turkey is going against what is present in the political scene and the ongoing dialogues, which seeks to calm down and reach a holistic political solution.

Al-Mahjoub explained, in a statement to Al-Arabiya Network, that “Turkey does not have a clear and stable strategy these days in Libya, by virtue of the fact that the Brotherhood organization, which leads the scene, its policy is to maneuver, manipulate, and play on the interests of others to achieve the interests of the group, not the state and the Libyan people.” That "everyone watching the scene intensely will become clear to him, which is that Turkey's statements in support of dialogue and a political solution are just words and cannot pass to the stage of actions."
