Syriacs celebrate Martyrs' Day in Tirbespiyê

The Syriac Union Party, in cooperation with the Syriac Military Council, held a memorial ceremony on the occasion of the Syriac martyrs Day who sacrificed their lives against terrorist attacks and the Turkish occupation.

The memorial ceremony was held in the office of the SUP in the district of Tirbespiyê where the official in the SMC, Mattay Aziz, and the presidential member of the National Council of Beth Nahrin, Ishosh Gawriah delivered words.

The words indicated that the SMC, was established to fight terrorism and the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries from the Jabhat Al-Nusra and the so-called Free Army, and it has sacrificed a lot to liberate territories.

The words also noted that the SMC undertakes to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs until the liberation of all territories from the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, who destroyed churches and threatened the innocent civilians.

The remembrance ceremony was concluded with a screening of a synvision about the resistance of the SMC and pictures of the martyrs who sacrificed for the sake of the homeland.
