Talal Mohamed: Political extermination aims to defame Kobani resistance

Head of the Democratic Peace Party Talal Mohammed has stated that Turkey interfered in neighboring states, such as Syria, Iraq and Libya and other countries in MIiddeast in order to divert attention its people from internal problems, which is going through, and the political extermination carried out in Bakur Kurdistan by the Justice and Development Party and arresting those asking to live freely in their own countries and demanding their legal and democratic rights, imposing severe siege and seeking to obliterate Kurdish ID, hard proof of this.     

Talal made clear that MPs of the People's Democratic Party, heads of municipalities and the journalists arrested, were out of thousands who formed human shields across the border between Bakur and Rojava, in support of the Kobane resistance after ISIS mercenaries' attacks on September, 15th, 2014. 

The aim of the arrest campaign now

Talal clarified that the political extermination launched by the Justice and Development Party and the Turkish intelligence against the Kurdish MPs and politicians on September 25th, spread fear amongst the Kurdish people and struck at the spirit of resistance and fighting.

Mohamed pointed out that the other aim of the Turkish State is to deter people in case it tries once again to occupy new areas in the north and east of Syria, saying: '' under fake pretexts and reasons Turkey tries constantly to occupy Kobani, which is being shelled on daily bases areas in Al-Jazeera canton and Ain Issa district, in addition to deploying its mercenaries and heavy weapons to the outskirts of Tal Tamr to launch new military operations in north and east of Syria, and the arrest campaign is to silence the Kurdish people to deter it when doing so''.

Why ''Kobane campaign''?

Tala noted that naming the arrest campaign in Turkey and Bakur Kurdistan by the AKP, after kobani is to defame the historic resistance made by YPG and YPJ fighters, where Kobani resistance attracted the attention all over the world after the legendary battles, in confronting strongest organization in the world. ISIS, saying: 'for Erdogan, Kobani was an example, and showed secrets of Turkish support to the mercenaries such as crossing the border and material and logistic backing."
