Military experts considered that arms smuggling is a major threat to the security and stability of the two countries, especially on the border strip, and warned that the massive flow of Turkish weapons following the fall of the Brotherhood regime in Sudan, and Abiy Ahmed's rise to the premiership in Ethiopia, confirms Ankara's intentions against the new regimes in the two countries.

In statements to Al Ain News Network, the military experts stressed that Turkey wants to destabilize Sudan and Ethiopia, and seeks to undermine the two regimes in Khartoum and Addis Ababa, as they are not loyal to its orientations.

Despite the frustration of the smuggling of many shipments by the authorities in Sudan and Ethiopia, Turkey continues its attempts to bring various weapons to the two countries, which is reflected in the seizures that do not pass a month without them.

In a related context, the Sudanese military expert, retired Major General Fadlallah Barmah Nasser, said that Turkey is home to dozens of "members of the defunct Brotherhood regime," and it is certain that they are behind the smuggling of weapons into the Sudanese to destabilize and confuse the transitional government that they seek to bring down, according to what he reported. Al Ain News Network.

The Sudanese military expert, Burma Nasser, added during his speech that it is not unlikely that Turkey seeks to destabilize Ethiopia, because the ruling regime there is not loyal to its orientations, as well as harboring opponents of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

He continued, "There is a common goal for Turkey and the terrorist Brotherhood from the intensified operations of smuggling weapons to Sudan and Ethiopia, which is to destabilize the two countries, as they have an interest in that."

Meanwhile, the Director of the Department of Transnational Crime in the Office of the Ethiopian Attorney General, Faqado Saja, revealed that "Turkish companies are involved in the smuggle of weapons to Ethiopia, in cooperation with weapons smuggling networks, which have become a major threat to the stability and security of the country."

He said that "there is a study conducted by the Ethiopian security services, on the source of these weapons, which confirmed that most of the weapons that are smuggled into Ethiopia are Turkish-made pistols."
