In a post on the so-called "Salvation Government" Facebook page, it announced a meeting to discuss preparations for starting the issuance of ID cards for civilians in the occupied territories.

This dangerous step is not the first of its kind, since after Turkey and its mercenaries occupied Syrian regions, they began to change the features of these areas and change their Syrian identity.

This policy began with appointing Turkish governors to manage these areas, in addition to changing the demography of the region, as after the displacement of the original inhabitants of the region, the Turkish occupation transferred thousands of its mercenaries and their families to these areas, especially from the Turkmen, and these groups also introduced curricula, and Turkish flags were raised in these areas.

This did not end, as, in a new blow to the Syrian identity in these areas, the Turkish occupation imposed trading in its currency instead of the Syrian national currency.

It is noteworthy that the so-called Salvation Government" issued last week a decision to deal in the Turkish lira in all the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, and threatened those who deal in the Syrian pound with accountability, and experts warned that “there are strong indications of the intention to separate Turkey from the occupied areas from Syria and to link them gradually to Turkey.” They described the members of the so-called coalition as "mouthpieces that cover up and legalize these actions."
