Emirati - Israeli talks on situation in Middle East

On Monday, Bahrain's Minister of Defense Affairs, Lt. Gen. Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, held talks with his Israeli counterpart Benny Gantz.

According to the Bahrain News Agency, they discussed the importance of (the Abraham agreement) with Israel for regional stability in the Middle East, and they talked about their common expectations for the establishment of a close partnership between the two defense ministries, which will contribute to strengthening the capabilities of the two countries and maintaining regional security.

At the conclusion of the talks, the Israeli Defense Minister offered to host his Bahraini partner on an official visit to Israel, and they agreed to continue the dialogue.

On Monday morning, talks were held between the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, and the Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation Ophir Akunis, during which congratulations were exchanged on the occasion of the declaration of peace between the two countries.

During the call, many aspects of cooperation between the two countries were discussed under the umbrella of peace, which will positively affect the economies of the two countries, especially in the commercial, industrial and tourism sectors.

The officials of the two countries expressed their aspiration for more cooperation between the private sector in the two countries, as well as many mutual visits and joint projects.
