The commander of Anbar Operations for the Mobilization Forces, Qassem Musleh, said in a statement: "With God's help, our forces launched Al-Qata` Brigades (18-19-13-17) with the support directorates of the Popular Mobilization Authority to address a number of vital targets, according to intelligence information that these areas are witnessing the movements of ISIS mercenaries." According to Alsumaria News.

Musleh added, "According to the security data, a number of areas in the western Anbar desert contain sleeper cells, and in our turn we have intensified security operations and military surveys to prevent and end these terrorist cells."

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced yesterday the launch of a security operation to cleanse "Babalawi" in northern Khanaqin.
