Occupation forces and Russian police run 29th patrol in Darbasiyah

The Russian Military Police, accompanied by the Turkish occupation forces, conducted a new joint patrol in the rural areas of Darbasiyah and Zarkan, on the Syrian-Turkish border.

The patrolling of the Russian military police and the Turkish occupation forces comes in implementation of the Sochi Agreement between Russia and Turkey, which took place on October 22, 2019, after Turkey's occupation of the Serekaniye and Girê Spi / Tal Abyad regions, after the attack it launched with the mercenaries of the "Syrian National Army."

Although the agreement stipulated the cessation of all combat operations, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are still violating the agreement, by bombing the populated villages with various types of weapons, the last of which was yesterday, when the village of Umm al-Kaif in the countryside of Tal Tamr was bombed.

In implementation of the Sochi understandings reached by the two parties, a new joint patrol was launched today in the rural areas of Darbasiyah and Zarkan.

The 29^th patrol set off from the village of Sherka, west of the Darbasiyah district, and headed towards the villages of Kesra in the Zarkan district, and then to the villages of “Atshan, Baraka and Barkafri” in the district of Darbasiyah, then the patrol returned to their starting point in the village of Sherka.

The patrol included 4 military armored vehicles from both sides, in addition to two Russian helicopters, in order to monitor the course of the patrol.
