At a time when questions and speculation abound about the scenarios that occur at this stage of the continuation of the attacks, the conclusion of alliances between the Turkish occupation army and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the attempts to undermine the initiatives of Kurdish national unity.

Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Amin Aliko, answers some of these questions.

Turkey and the role of thugs

Aliko began his speech by referring to the Turkish state’s attacks on Başûr Kurdistan, especially the Heftanın region, where he said: “It is not the first time, as it is a series of attacks during the past years, especially recently.”

And Aleko added: “Turkey, which is in a state of confusion, especially in terms of the domestic, the economy and politics, and in general the policy of the Justice and Development Party on Turkish society and even outside Turkey, such as Syria, Iraq, Libya, Egypt and Greece, so Turkey today is playing the role of thugs (thugs), with Erdogan's person threatening On a daily basis, the European and Arab societies and the Kurds, so we can say that the attacks come as a result of Erdogan's defeat on all fronts.

On the subject of Erdogan's allegations of discovering gas deposits in the Mediterranean, Aliko said: “The remarkable thing is the proliferation of lies and slander, especially against Turkish society, when Erdogan claims to have discovered gas in the Mediterranean, and these allegations are hidden from societies, as Erdogan goes to the abyss.”

The goal of the attacks on Kurdistan

He noted the purpose of these attacks on Kurdistan, saying" Due to the defeats that AKP has suffered, it launched new brutal attacks with its gangs to Başûr Kurdistan and Heftanin."

And pointed" the goal form these attacks are to divide Kurdistan and eradication of the Kurdish presence, where claimed it fights organization and party."

Aliko also touched on the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party regarding Turkey’s attempts to fully occupy Başûr on all geographical, political, economic and social levels. He said: “At the same time, sadly, the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Başûr Kurdistan and its position on these attacks, as today we see it as a collaborator, conspirator and partner with the Turkish occupation in light of the proposed initiatives to unify the Kurdish ranks and maintain their existence, it will not have a positive role if he continues his policy in Başûr Kurdistan through successive visits to Ankara.

Aliko continued, an intensive isolation that Erdogan is going through makes him call on the leaders of the Democratic Party to dictate to them in order to legitimize his attacks on the Kurdish will in general and the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in particular."

Regarding the resistance shown by the fighters of the People's Defense Forces HPG in Heftanin, Aliko said: “Heftanin is the resistance to existence, the resistance of the Kurdish people in general. Erdogan was defeated in Heftanin, but he is trying to compensate for this defeat in political terms, as he claimed two days ago to end the military operations, but without Results, and this means that Heftanin won with the will of the Kurdish people over Turkish fascism.

Amin Aliko ended his speech, calling on all parties, especially the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to be among the efforts that seek to unify the Kurdish ranks and unify their decision.
