During security operations, the Internal Security Forces managed to dismantle many cells of spies that were recruited by the Syrian government in the regions of northern and eastern Syria. The arrested spies made confessions about the malicious policies that the Turkish state and the Syrian government run against the peoples of the region.

The spy, Yasser Hilal, who was arrested during a security operation, said that he was assigned by the Syrian government to begin with striking the stability of the city of Raqqa, transmitting information about Arab tribal leaders, about the Syrian Democratic Forces, and spreading discord among the people.

Hilal added, "In the beginning I met with officers from the Syrian intelligence, one of them named Waad, and the second Lieutenant Colonel Alexander, and they asked me to work for them, and start forming a spy cell, and later they would give me the names of the notables that I would kill, and then I would work to discredit the Syrian Democratic Forces. "

Detonating mines in Al-Raqqa

According to the instructions of the Syrian intelligence, Yasser Hilal formed his cell, where he managed to recruit Samer Ali from Al-Jazeera, Ibrahim Al-Shawakh from Al-Raqqa, Ibrahim Shawakh Haji Salloum from Serekaniye, Mishaal Ali Sheikh Hammoud from Al-Raqqa and Dawas Hami from Al-Raqqa.

  At first, they were asked to hang pictures of Bashar al-Assad on the wall of Raqqa, and then they brought them mines, which were distributed to the spies and detonated them in various places in the city and in the village of Bir Hashem.

As for the spy Rami Qathaniya, who was born in 1989, he was arrested while trying to place an explosive device under the car of Omar Mahmoud, one of the notables of the Arab tribes.

The spy Ramadan Muhammad Rashid, known as Ramadan Dawas, one of the elements of the Syrian government spy cell, works as a driver between Hama and Raqqa, where he was recruited by Yasser Hilal, he used to collect mines from the Syrian intelligence and bring them to Raqqa, and he himself detonated some mines at the wall of Raqqa, and another in one of the empty schools, with the aim of spreading terror and fear and strike stability, according to his confessions.

The spy, Ali Al-Wardia, from Manbij, born in 1985, was assigned to detonate explosive devices for the Syrian Democratic Forces in Manbij, and he promised to pay one million pounds in case he managed to detonate the explosive devices, he tried many a time to detonate it, upon failing, he was asked to detonate it in front of Barkel hospital and he failied again, then they asked him to blow it up in Hamburger corner where the bomb was detonated for 50,000 Syrian pounds.

Majeed Hussain, born in Manbij in 1997, was recruited by Ali al-Wardiyah and participated with him in detonating an explosive device at Al-Amal Hospital.

They threatened him to rape his sister if he did not cooperate with them

Yasser Hussein Othman, born in Manbij in 1986 and one of the spies who participated in the bombing of Al-Amal Hospital, says that an intelligence agent named Abu Abdullah Hashem threatened him to rape his sister in Aleppo if he did not accept dealing with them, and they sent him his sister's number to confirm that they know her. Accordingly, he was forced to participate with Ali Al-Wardia in detonating the explosive device in front of Al-Amal Hospital, where the explosion killed 13 civilians.
