Today, the engineering battalions of the Syrian government forces, under the supervision of the Office of Relations of the Syrian Democratic Forces, exhumed 42 bodies from the second mass grave, which is located 6 km southwest of Ain Issa near the village of Khafiyat al-Wahb.

These two graves belong to the members of the 93rd Brigade, who were liquidated in the summer of 2014 by ISIS mercenaries, as 15 bodies were previously exhumed, bringing the number of remains found today in these two graves to 57.

The Public Relations Office handed over all the bodies exhumed from the two graves to the Syrian government forces, with the aim of conducting checks to identify them and later deliver them to their families.

The two mass graves were discovered on August 31, after the people of the area informed the security forces in the sub-district of the existence of two cemeteries, the first cemetery was in the village of Al-Farhaniya, and the second in the village of Khafiyah Al-Wahab, which are close to each other, as they are only 2 km far from each other.

It should be noted that there is more than one mass grave for the members of the 93rd Brigade in the countryside of Ain Issa, but until the moment, only 4 graves have been found.
