Coronavirus exceeds 25 million infections in the world

Today, the number of Coronavirus (Covid-19) infections in the world exceeded 25 million, as more than half of the cases were recorded in the Americas.

Coronavirus infections have reached more than 25 million cases worldwide, according to an AFP count.

The agency said that the statistics it conducted is based on official sources, noting that it was recorded at 4:20 am on Sunday, and added that the number of infections declared, according to this census, is 25,029,250 infections, including 842,915 deaths.

The United States and Brazil recorded 4 out of 10 infections, the two countries most affected by the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and the number of infections in the United States reached 5,960,652 cases, including 182,760 deaths, while in Brazil, the total number of infections reached 3,846,153 cases, including 120,262 deaths.

Today, the Indian Ministry of Health said that more than 78,000 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, which is the highest daily rate since the start of the epidemic, with the number of infections exceeding 3.5 million.
