​​​​​​​Sherawa supports resistance of Haftanin

Hundreds gathered in the center of the village of Ziyarah in Afrin canton, holding banners that read: "No brutality of the Turkish state, long live the resistance of Haftanin. Turkey occupies our land and kills our children and elders, Russia is silent, victory for Haftanin resistance, victory for the peoples, with the revolutionary people's war and the valor of guerrillas we will defeat occupation and betrayal.

The demonstration headed towards the Al-Awdah camp located at the entrance to the village. They stood for a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, followed by a speech by a member of the Sherawa sub-district council Ahmed Suleiman, in which he said: “Since the start of the July 19 Revolution, the Turkish occupation, through its mercenaries, has sought to suppress the revolution and extinguish its spark, using all the policies of the special war policy, and aggression on the Kurdish regions.

Suleiman continued, "After Turkey's occupation of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi, it seeks to occupy Haftanin and many other regions, with the aim of restoring the rule of the Ottoman Empire."

At the end of his speech, Suleiman denounced the aggressive and occupational Turkish occupation policy in northern, southern and western Kurdistan.

In turn, Leila Adnan, a member of the Al-Awdah camp council, stressed the need for the unity of the Kurdish people to stand against the plans of the Turkish occupation, which seeks to occupy all parts of Kurdistan.

The demonstration ended with slogans saluting the resistance in the face of Turkish fascism.
