Al-Abed: People awareness failed the sedition plots in the region

The statements of the Vice of the Co-Presidency of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration, Hamdan Al-Abd, came during a special meeting with Hawar News Agency to talk about the latest sedition attempts through sleeper cells in the region and the failure factor for them.

Al-Abed began his speech by saying that after the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to defeat the terrorism and establish security and peace in the region, some countries and parties kept their support for terrorist cells that serve their agendas.

He continued, "Some parties worked to sow discord among the components or clans in the region, because the Autonomous-administrated areas are the safest in Syria in general with the best sevices in comparison to the other areas."

Hamdan Al-Abed praised the awareness and cohesion of the dignitaries and sheikhs of the region's tribes, which thwarted plans to strike the security of the region and sow discord.

Al-Abed added that the Autonomous Administration bets on a political solution to end the Syrian crisis, away from strife, chaos and wars, and it supports the Syrian-Syrian dialogue that strengthens the unity of Syria.

He sent a message to some figures abroad who claim to represent the clans in the region, saying, "If you represent the clans, you must be among the members of your clan and stand by their demands. Where were you when ISIS and terrorist factions controlled the region?"

Hamdan Al-Abed also called on people to beware what is being hatched for them by some parties at the expense of the people of northeast Syria.

He noted that tens of thousands of people from northeast Syria have sacrificed their lives to liberate their regions from terrorism and preserve the territorial integrity of the region. These sacrifices are part of the project of the Autonomous Administration that aims to achieve a comprehensive political solution.

Commenting on the recent meeting called by the Syrian regime in the city of his home, east of Aleppo, Al-Abed said, “The Syrian regime wanted through its recent meeting with some clan sheikhs, and wanted the personalities that called it to speak in favor of striking the security and stability of northeast of Syria and thwarting the Autonomous Administration project.”

The Vice of the Co-Presidency indicated during his speech that the Autonomous Administration project is an urgent need to get rid of the crisis in Syria. He called on all clans to stand as one man in the face of sedition, wondering, “What has the person who commits crimes done to cause discord and at the control of ISIS and terrorist factions.”

At the end of his speech, Al-Abed asked, "Why were there no statements of denunciations for what is happening in the occupied territories in terms of violations and crimes against humanity, especially the current cutoff of water to the people of the region?"
