The secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, Abdul Karim Siko, confirms that Turkey aims to exterminate the Kurdish people through its continuous attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria and Başur of Kurdistan.

Since October 19, 2019, the Turkish occupation army has launched attacks on the region, as it began with a widespread attack on the regions of Başur of Kurdistan on June 16. Observers believe these attacks exterminate the Kurdish people, stressing the need for the Kurds to unify their ranks as soon as possible.

“The Turkish state is hostile to any Kurdish project, opposing the flag of the Kurdistan region at the Khalil crossing between Bakûr of Kurdistan and Başur of Kurdistan proves that.” He explained. It supports a Kurdish party and supports another party, but targets the Kurds wherever they are.

He indicated that Başur of Kurdistan is now in real danger, “Despite the popular opposition in Başur of Kurdistan against the Turkish attacks and their rejection of the occupation, the government of Başur of Kurdistan keeps silent.” He said.

He stressed that the stage needs Kurdish unity, and said: "Today the Kurds have many cards that they depend on thanks to the sacrifices of their martyrs. They can win international support for their cause. Therefore, the Kurdish political parties must accelerate the declaration of a unified Kurdish political vision and put an end to Turkish ambitions."

The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria noted that the Turkish state is interfering in the affairs of several countries in the region, Libya, Cyprus, Greece and Egypt.  "The next stage will be decisive, as the peoples of the region no longer accept a new Ottoman occupation, and the Kurdish parties must act according to popular demands and end all relations with Turkey and the so-called coalition. He concluded.
