We must unite ranks to face Turkish threat

The Turkish occupation army, since June 16, has been launching violent attacks on the areas of Başûr Kurdistan, and has not stopped its attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria since October 9, 2019, as it is trying to occupy more lands after the occupation of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî.

The people of Tirbê Spiyê district believe that it is necessary for the Kurdistan and Kurdish forces to unify the ranks and reach a unified agreement to confront the threat of the Turkish occupation.

Bashir Morad, a resident of Tirbê Spiyê district of al-Jazeera region confirmed that all people, without exception, support the unity of political parties to face the Turkish threat, and said: "With unity, we will be able to confront the Turkish attacks and prevent them from occupying more lands, but the narrow political differences push the parties to separate and thus weaken the Kurdish cause."

Muayad Khalil Omer clarified that by declaring the end of the first phase of the Kurdish talks in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, all spectra of society got optimistic, and he said: "But some parties' making excuses and creating obstacles do not serve any Kurdish party, especially at this sensitive stage in which the Turkish state is trying to strike the Kurdish people and exterminate them."
