The Euphrates, Al-Jazeera regions’ people rise up against Turkish massacre

To condemn the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation army in the village of Hallinj of Kobani, yesterday, 3 women were martyred, thousands of people from al-Jazeera and the Euphrates regions went to the squares to go on sit-ins and condemn the massacre committed against women.

Hundreds of women and people of Qamishlo city are now protesting in front of the United Nations headquarters, to condemn the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation army yesterday in the village of Hallinj in Kobani and the Turkish attacks on Kurdistan, holding up pictures of martyrs of the Turkish occupation massacre in Kobani, and banners saying "the blood of our martyrs and the cries of our children will hold you accountable" as well as Kongra Star flags.

The people demand, through their slogans, that the Turkish occupation army must be held accountable for the crimes it is committing against the people of northern and eastern Syria.

Kongra Star is scheduled to make a statement to the public opinion regarding the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation in the village of Hallinj.

In the same context, hundreds of people from Cilaxa and Girke Lege district in al-Jazeera region and the city of Kobani in the Euphrates region are now heading to the squares to demonstrate, denouncing the massacres and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army.
