Al-Habib: Kurdish understanding establishes fraternity of peoples, Syrian national unity

Hikmat al-Habib explained that the Kurdish file is one of the important files in Syria, and the understanding between the Kurdish forces is a step towards Syrian national unity, and he called on all Syrian forces and parties to take similar steps to reach a political solution that ends the Syrian crisis.

On June 17, the delegations of the Kurdish National Unity Parties and the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) announced the conclusion of the first phase of the Kurdish-Union unity negotiations, and reached a binding common political vision and reaching initial understandings.

Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hikmat Al-Habib blessed the preliminary understandings between the two delegations, and said: "This agreement comes at a sensitive time, which is an important step towards pushing the political process in Syria forward and preserving the territorial integrity of Syria."

Al-Habib pointed out that the Kurdish file is one of the important files in Syria, and the understanding between the two delegations is a step towards Syrian national unity.

Al-Habib explained that the Kurdish-Kurdish agreement strengthens the work of the Autonomous Administration, which was built thanks to the sacrifices of thousands of people from the components of the northern and eastern regions of Syria, to be a realistic project that preserves the identity of the components and is firmly established in the new Syrian constitution.

Al-Habib pointed out that the agreement between the Kurdish forces establishes the concept of the democratic nation and the fraternity of peoples, and pointed out that they are adopting a democratic project for all Syrians with different affiliations and ideas.

Hikmat al-Habib thanked everyone who contributed to the success of these understandings, and hoped that the delegations would take quick steps on the ground, and called on all Syrian forces and parties to take similar steps to reach a political solution that would end the Syrian crisis and the arguments of the occupied countries for Syria.
