Mulla Nawaf: Kurds must file suits against Swedish court

34 years later, the truth of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme's murder uncovered ,who was assassinated in 1986. Palme was known to have bold stances on many international issues such as issues of peace, democracy, international understanding and common security. He was the supporter of many liberation movements in the world, he said: "It is the right of the Kurds to obtain their rights as the rest of the people of the world," which aroused the dismay among many European Nations, as well as the United States of America.

The finger of accusation of Olof's murder was pointed to the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Workers Party, consequently was classified as a terrorism organization. It became clear after 34 years that the Kurdish people were innocent of this charge.

However, it had bad consequences on the Kurdish people, as the Kurds were subsequently subjected to a series of arrests, which affected the struggle of the Kurdish people.

Bashir Mulla Nawaf, a member of the Union of Intellectuals in the Al-Jazeera region, explained that the assassination of Palme had a great resonance in Sweden in particular and in the world in general.

He clarified when asking: "In the interest of those who harm the assassination of Palme ?, we see that Palme was a member of the International Socialist Party, as he had critical positions against the American foreign policies of the occupation of Vietnam, the Soviet Union and its occupation of Czechoslovakia, and critical positions of the South African racist government and politics of Zionism. "

Mulla Nawaf also pointed out that pointing the finger at the Kurds, indicated a weakness and a lack of facts by the investigations of the Swedish police. Mulla Nawaf said that the ideas of the PKK and Palme are running at 80% in one line, as the positions of Palme on international issues are the same as the positions of the PKK.                

He pointed out that the Turkish state has a special place in the European Nations and the world. It can play a fundamental role with the file of Palme, so he said: "There is no doubt that the Turkish intelligence and its diplomacy have a hand in the killing of Palme with 100 percent pain, to point the fingers of the PKK and define it to the world as a "terrorist party".

Palme was killed at 23:00, but the Turkish newspapers reported his murder at 05:00 pm published wide headlines such as "The PKK killed Palme." That is, they were printed before his death, and before any evidence was obtained.

Mulla Nawaf indicated that the accusation of the PKK of that murder had had a negative impact on the Kurds, so he said: "This has had a negative impact on global public opinion and in particular in Europe, on the Kurds and the Kurdistan Liberation Movement. To this day, we are paying for these accusations."

Mulla Nawaf noted that Turkey has harnessed all its energies and capabilities to accuse the PKK, saying: "Because Turkey was fully confident that the PKK would open its offices in Europe, and play a political and diplomatic role, putting Turkey in a great dilemma." and he showed that the world was confident that the PKK was innocent.

Mulla Bashir called the Swedish justice deficit, saying: "Palme's murderer was known only after 34 years of investigations to close the file, as a great deficit of Swedish justice."

He emphasized that the Kurds should demand restitution, and said: "Of all the countries that were accused of killing Palme, the Kurds were more harmful, and the Kurds have the right to file suits with the Swedish court and demanding moral and material rights."
