Video . . . Shortage of flowing Euphrates river led to catastrophe situation

Pictures and video clips of the stream of the Euphrates River when entering the Syrian lands near the occupied city of Jarablus show the drying of large areas of the river banks compared to last year, which witnessed a record rise in water.

Villagers on the banks of the Euphrates in northern Syria face difficult living challenges in light of the ebb and flow of the river’s waters, which the Turkish occupation is manipulating with its levels between the spring and summer seasons.

And the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria earlier demanded the United Nations and the Syrian and Iraqi governments to put pressure on Turkey regarding its clear violation of international conventions and laws towards dealing with regional waters.
