Darwish: Targeting is not for a person, but for struggle of people; who won freedom and achieved peace

Shervan Darwish commented on the incident of his assassination attempt that he was targeting not for a specific person, because the struggle of peoples for freedom does not depend on people, and that the real target is for the struggle of a people who gained freedom and achieved peace and chose to defend their land.

Yesterday, the spokesperson for the Manbij Military Council, Shervan Darwish, was exposed to an assassination attempt on a landmine that targeted his car on the Manbij-Abu Qalqal road this morning, but the attempt failed, and no one was hurt, the damage was limited to the car they were carrying them.

Hawar news agency ANHA held a meeting with the spokesperson of the Manbij Military Council, Shervan Darwish, to comment on the issue of the assassination attempt he was subjected to, which is the second time that he escaped from them, indicating that there are many parties that are trying to strike stability in the region while the people of north and east Syria are fighting to achieve security and stability in their regions, and it coincided with the campaign of the Syrian Democratic Forces against terrorism in Deir-ez-Zor and the countryside of al-Hasakah.

Shervan explained that the goal of those parties that want to destabilize security and stability in the region is angered by seeing the stability that the region has reached despite all the conditions in Syria in general, and they seek through these cowardly methods the illusion that the regions of north and east Syria are not as safe as the rest of the occupied areas.

And Shervan Darwish indicated that targeting is not for a specific person. Because the struggle of peoples for freedom does not depend on individuals, but rather this targeting of peoples who have chosen to defend their lands and live under the brotherhood of peoples and who have chosen freedom.

Shervan expressed their confidence that the people are able to absorb what is going on in the Syrian arena in general, stressing that this type of targeting will not reach its goal, whether it targets people or an entire people.

He pointed out that the attempts to strike stability are not new, as there are parties that try various means to destabilize, especially in light of this critical stage in which the Syrian people suffer in general, as he recalled the launch of the campaign to liberate the city of Manbij in its fourth anniversary that coincides with the first of this month, which It is considered the beginning of building a stable life for Manbij city's people.

Since Manbij city's liberation, and until now there have been many attempts to strike stability and create chaos, and spread strife in the region, and what happened today is part of those attempts, and he pointed out that the assassination attempt is not the first to be exposed to it, and it may not be the last.

He affirmed that the struggle for freedom will continue, and concluded his speech by saying: "We will follow the path of the martyrs who sacrificed their blood for this people and this land, and we will achieve victory by bringing together the people and the Manbij Military Council together."
