Occupation army’s arson fires leave a victim, seriously injure another

A citizen from Zerkan district lost his life, and another was seriously wounded while trying to put out the fires that devoured their crops and were set by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the lands of the region.

As part of a series of violations and crimes committed against the people of the region, and fighting them for their livelihood, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries today fired bullets towards the agricultural lands in Zerkan district of al-Hasakah canton, which led to the outbreak of fire in the agricultural crops.

The people rushed to extinguish the fire and protect their crops, among them were the two citizens, "Sagheer al-Hajji and Naeem al-Sattaf" from Asadiyya village, as they suffered severe burns while trying to put out the fires that devoured the livelihood of their families.

The two injured people were immediately transferred by the Rescue Forces to the Martyr Khabat Hospital in Zerkan district, but due to his critical condition, Sagheer al-Hajji lost his life, while Naeem was transferred to Qamishlo city hospitals to receive the medical treatment, and his condition was also described as critical.
