Yemenis have recently been increasingly concerned about suspicious Turkey-Iran relations and their cooperation to sabotage the region's security and destabilize it through Yemen's gateway.

"History witnesses to the common ambitions of the Persian and Turkish nationalities, as the Turkish occupation had influence and control over large parts of Yemen and its wealth under the Ottoman Empire," Yemeni human rights activist and researcher Mohammed Allaw said during a talk to our agency. Iran believes it has a right to re-establish hegemony over Yemen, given Kasra Fares's support for the Yemeni agent Saif bin al-Yazan against his cousins, Al Moluk Al Humeirerin al-Sabah, when he sent a Persian army to support him. To seize power in the context of settling the differences of the ruling family in the Arab Kingdom of Saba. This dispute and support established for the Persian occupation in Yemen shortly before the emergence of Islam.

Alliance of interests for domination and domination

"Since that date, Iran and Turkey have sought to impose hegemony over Yemen, its capabilities and its strategic position. Iran has returned through its support for its Houthi militias, which turned against the legitimate Yemeni government in September," the Yemeni human rights activist said. in 2014 to impose an Iranian agenda and to implement and achieve Iran's interests in controlling seaways and the Strait of Bab al-Mandab and to siege the Gulf States, after having clear influence in Syria and Iraq. Controlling Yemen through its agents, will help it to have full control over the Arab countries and the most important trade routes and waterways in the world."

He continued: "Turkey's support for the Pro-Islah Brotherhood party, and Qatari financial, media, moral and other parties in the region seek to restore its Turkish-Ottoman hegemony to realize the importance of Yemen's strategic position, and  extend its influence on the countries of the region. This does not mean that there is a Turkish-Iranian consensus, but common interest or what we call as the "interest" of this alliance. On the one hand, this alliance will mitigate the impact of U.S. sanctions on Iran and make Turkey acceptable for Iran. If the Arab and Yemeni coalitions fail the Iranian and Turkish plans in Yemen by resolving the battle against the Houthis, it will be resolved.

Preventing Turkey's ambition in Yemen is important to stop the Qatari interventions and the Reform Brotherhood from controlling Yemen's internal affairs. So Iran-Turkey common interests will end. Both will return to compete and the national differences between them will re-emerge, especially in light of the increase in U.S. sanctions on Iran and Turkey's inability to take advantage of its common border with Iran.

The influential role of Arab countries to curb Iranian and Turkish aspirations

" Here, the importance of the Arab counter-alliance in Yemen in reducing the influence of Turkey and Iran, especially as we see and follow movements from influential Arab countries, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to curb the arrogance of the Iranian-Turkish colonial aspirations, which do not hope for the Arab region, but are using domestic means that are unfortunately manipulated by Ankara and Tehran to achieve their colonial dreams of reoccupation. Arab countries and share their bounties."
