An informed source told Roj news that the Kurdistan Democratic Party PDK sent more forces to two other sites in the north of Hawler, close to the area witnessing escalation and tension in conjunction with the ongoing Turkish attacks.

The source, who did not want to be named, said that said that the Kurdistan Democratic Forces PDK were stationed in two other locations, except those stationed in Wartê zînî area, which caused the escalation.

On Friday, the Joint Presidency of the Leadership Authority of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) confirmed that the position of the PDK forces in the Wartê zînî area can only be explained by preparing for an attack on Qandil.

In his interview with Roj news, the source revealed that the party sent military units belonging to it and fighters of the so-called "Peshmerga Roj", to the Babishka area between Swan and Rawendoz, north of Hawler.

He added that the party also sent reinforcements to Qusri district, adjacent to Qandil.

The reinforcements raised the question about its purpose, especially as it comes in conjunction with Turkish air attacks on "Wartê zînî" area, which recently resulted in the martyrdom of 3 fighters in Guerilla.
