​​​​​​​Sheikh Baqi: Turkish attack on Mexmûr is new plot against Kurds 

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with the Secretary-General of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Jamal Sheikh Baqi, regarding the targeting of Turkish warplanes to Mexmûr camp "Rustom Judy", amid the silence of Başûr Kurdistan government on these violations.

He said: "The martyr Rustom camp, known as Mexmûr camp, is a symbol of two parties. One party is trying to end the presence of this camp while the other side is resisting, because the symbolic struggle of this camp continues."

Jamal indicated that Rustom Judy camp was established when the Turkish state attacked the areas of Bakur Kurdistan with artillery and tanks, and during that period, the people of Bakur Kurdistan were displaced to Başûr to protect themselves from Turkish aggression, where the camp has been settled by Kurds' refugees who fled from injustice of the Turkish state.

Sheikh Baqi said that Turkey was planning the last attack on Başûr Kurdistan before its occupation of the city of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and he clarified that the other goal of this attack is to reduce the movement of the PKK between Qandil, Başûr and Rojava, and on the other hand, Turkey is trying to reach Şengal province to carry out its operations in the mountains of Kurdistan and launched operations against the Kurdish people from these locations.

Jamal Sheikh Baqi said at the end of his speech: "Getting rid of conspiracies against the Kurdish people is through unity and freedom of opinion, and from this platform we call on all political leaders and all Kurdish parties to sit at the dialogue table and end all disputes, as Mexmûr is a new beginning for a great conspiracy."
