Medical teams inspect arrivals from Damascus to Qamishlo inside the airport

This afternoon, a group of civilians arrived from the Syrian capital, Damascus, have arrived at Qamishlo airport, and the emergency teams immediately began testing them to ward off the appearance of the Corona virus in the area.

This is the fourth batch that has arrived in Qamishlo since April 5.

The Internal Security Forces intensified their procedures to prevent any breaches, as happened on April 7, as the authorities of the Syrian regime smuggled a number of expatriates to prevent them from being tested and put them in quarantine.

In order to prevent the smuggling of arrivals by the airport operators, the emergency teams conducted checks for the arrivals inside Qamishlo airport.

After completing the necessary tests, they are placed in a special center for expatriates for a 14-day incubation period.

The Crisis Cell confirmed the lack of coordination by the Syrian authorities with them regarding the new arrivals.

According to the information received, they number more than 100 people.
