Autonomous Administration supports SDC's missing and abducted file

This came in a statement commenting on the initiative of the Syria Democratic Council to form a follow up committee on the file of missing and abducted across Syria, the statement read:

"The ongoing situation in Syria has resulted in many scourges and sufferings for the Syrians for a decade. The Syrians have suffered and continue to suffer from this crisis aftermaths, which holds its responsibility those who are directly causing its complexity, modification and utilization of special agendas, and all those who have a role in reducing this complexity in the face of historical and moral responsibilities.

 This crisis has resulted in disastrous results with regard to the general humanitarian situation, displacement, more than thousands cases of detainees, abductees and missing persons with unknown fate, a file that is still present and casts a shadow over the lives of thousands of families and children of missing persons.

We are in the Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria while we are aware of the humanitarian side of this file and its need for cooperation between the various parties, we firmly affirm that all self-administered detentions are open to all those who follow this file and these places have been visited more than once by several parties an Human Rights Watch, as well as the International Red Cross.
All of our detainees are ISIS terrorists and those who have committed criminal acts, including criminal offences. There are dozens of documented reports in this area.

As for the initiative on detainees, abductees and missing persons across Syria by the Syria Democratic Council on April 4, we affirm that we are open to it and strongly support it. We are ready to make it work with all our potential.

This initiative is accepted and appreciated by us. We confirm the cooperation between the administration and those responsible for this initiative to reveal the fate of missing persons in the areas of Autonomous Administration, and this is one of the most important indications that confirms the humanitarian aspect of those who have the ability to cooperate with this initiative, and we appeal in turn to all parties concerned to cooperate positively in this context.
