Al-Shaddadi countryside abides by curfew

Al-Shaddadi and its countryside witness a full commitment to the curfew, and the families praise the Autonomous Administration decisions, and they assert these measures have been taken to protect them.

The cities of NE, Syria entered the 11th day of the curfew imposed by the Autonomous Administration, in order to avoid infection with the new Coronavirus, with a commitment of more than 90% in all cities.

Al-Shaddadi district's people, south of al-Hasakah canton and its countryside, dealt with the restrictions imposed by the Autonomous Administration with awareness and commitment.

How did the rural people deal with the curfew?

In the village of al-Hariri, east of al-Shaddadi district, the second largest gathering of residents after the district center, residents stayed in their homes to ward off the threat posed by the emerging Corona virus.

Ali Al-Hamid, 55, a resident of al-Ghurery village, praised the measures taken by the Autonomous Administration to protect the citizens, and drew awareness to the people of observing the curfew.

He noted that all shops are closed except for those exempted from the ban. He said, "There are stores for foodstuffs that remain open to secure the needs of the villagers at the stage of the curfew."

It is noteworthy that al-Hariri village is located 3 km east of al-Shaddadi district, and it is the largest population center after the district center, and it is inhabited by more than 35,000 people.
