The Organizational Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council held an expanded meeting for the people of the region, attended by many political parties and clan elders, and independents in the Tourist Club Hall, north of Tirbe Spi district.

The meeting was moderated by the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Amina Omar, and Deputy Executive Presidency Hikmat Habib.

Amina Omar stated during the meeting that they are in the Democratic Syrian Council in the process of holding a national conference for the opposition forces, with the aim of finding a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis and stand in the face of Turkish threats, and its occupation of Syrian lands.

Workshop in Brussels

Amina Omar revealed that the Syrian Democratic Council, after holding five workshops in the European Union, will hold a unified opposition forces workshop in Brussels on the ninth of February.

Amina Omar also explained that the Syrian Democratic Council will participate in the Cairo conference during the coming period, and stressed that the conference will be the gateway to the Syrian Democratic Council to enter the negotiating body, and that the conference will be sponsored by the Republic of Egypt, and enjoys regional and international support.

"The coalition will not participate in the Cairo conference, and Arab countries are now aware of the Turkish threat to all Arab countries, not just Syria, and both Turkey and Iran are the cause of all crises in the region through their interference in state affairs," she added.

Turkish will see internal changes

The co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, in her speech, pointed to the cause of the Turkish state’s crises by saying: “The Turkish state suffers from political crises in the region and an internal crisis because of its interference in the affairs of neighboring countries, and stressed that the Turkish people will not stand idly by regarding the policies of the Turkish government, and that the next stage you will see changes inside Turkey. "

Amina Omar, at the end of her speech, stressed the importance of resolving the Syrian crisis by saying: "We, as the Syrian Democratic Council, are working hard to find a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis, through our meetings with the regime and some opposition forces, and we affirm our adherence to a peaceful solution, and this is what we are trying to communicate through all meetings at home and abroad."

Tribal elders thank the leadership of "SDF"

During the meeting, tribal elders in the region praised the role of SDF, and thanked SDF leadership, which opened the door in northern and eastern Syria to displaced people from Aleppo and Idlib, stressing that it is an important step to emphasize the national spirit, which the SDF possesses, and prevent the Turkish state from exploiting Syrian refugees.
