Idlib refugees: Turkey closes its border, exploitation their number for its benefit  

More than 200 Idlib families crossed the Aoun Dadat crossing north of Manbij, in the form of batches within two weeks, while the Syrian regime, with Russian air support, took control of the city of Ma`rat al-Numan and dozens of neighboring villages on the international road between Damascus and Aleppo from mercenary factions supported by the Turkish occupation.

Liwa al-Shamal, under the banner of the Syrian Democratic Forces, received dozens of families fleeing from Idlib countryside, after the announcement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, that the gates of NE, Syria are open to families displaced from Idlib.

One of the women who arrived a few days ago to the "Abu al-Qubaie" camp, 20 kilometers southwest of the city of Raqqa, and Hamida al-Absi said that they lived through terrifying moments until they reached Manbij and then al-Raqqa, especially in light of the security chaos in the areas occupied by Turkey.

Hamida, who comes from the village of al-Rami in Jabal al-Zawiya, adds that they were subjected to insane bombardment, even during displacement, in front of the attention of the Turkish observation points, which were established mainly to monitor the ceasefire in those areas.

The Autonomous Administration in North and East of Syria is working to secure tents, water, heating fuel and all the necessary supplies, as initial steps, and plans to build another camp on the southern bank of the Euphrates River near the town of al-Mansoura, in anticipation of waves of greater displacement, according to the administrator in the camp, Turki Daadou, in conjunction with the progress of the Syrian regime and its allies Inside the city of Saraqib on the international road south of Aleppo.

For her part, Fatima Tawfiq al-Khatib, who is also from the villages of Jabal al-Zawiya, says: Turkey has closed all its crossings to those fleeing the Russian shelling and the Syrian regime, while it is exploiting for its benefit the large numbers of IDPs, especially the theft of funds and international aid provided to them.

Fatima al-Khatib also notes that thousands are sleeping in wilderness and the roads in the bitter cold, and the lack of means of life in the areas occupied by Turkey from Syria, and it is forbidden for IDPs to remain in it.

Liwa al-Shamal is working to coordinate with families trying to reach north and east Syria after security studies for the displaced, so that they pass the Aoun Dadat crossing between occupied Jarablus and Manbij, which receives the displaced for the third week in a row.
