Despite Erdogan's threats, regime advancing towards Saraqib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that regime forces continue to advance in the eastern countryside of Saraqeb after Turkish mercenary groups withdrew from a large number of villages there after they became a fireball.

 The Syrian Observatory monitored the increase in the number of areas that the regime forces have advanced to there in the last few hours to 16, namely: Barisa, Hammamet, Tal al-Sultan, Um Shershuh, Khashakhaish, Tal Ibrahim, Jabal al-Taweel, the abandoned battalion, Al-Bilisa, Al-Wasta, Kuers, Tel Al-Agar, Al-Mashfar, Taweel Al Haleeb, Al Raqim and Judiudah Al khatirah..

The regime's progress comes in conjunction with statements by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan: "The regime is seeking to advance on the ground in Idlib, we will not give the regime a chance to move forward, because this will increase the burden on us."

"There is no need for a serious disagreement with Moscow regarding developments in Syria at the moment," he said, adding that his country would talk to Russia "without anger."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Turkey has not fulfilled some of its "fundamental" commitments ove Idlib, calling on Ankara to "strictly abide" by the agreements reached by the two heads of states in Sochi, and confirmed Turkey's transfer of Syrian mercenaries to Libya.
