The attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have been going on on the areas of northeastern Syria since October 9, 2019, despite the truce and understandings between the states. Commander of the Syriac Military Council, Aday Ribo, spoke to our agency about the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries Tal Tamer area and its countryside .

Ribo said in his statement that the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries have stepped up their attacks against villages of Tamer area recently, adding: "There are continuous attempts to occupy more villages , while the Syriac Military Council is responding to these attacks in the legitimate self-defense, we have been able to defeat the attacks so far.

The attacks are particularly concentrated on Zarkan area and its countryside; Tel Al-Ward, Um Hermel, Al-Rabiat villages in particular as well as Tal Tamr villages. In addition to the villages of Um al-Kef, Um al-Khair, Dardra, Tel Keifji and Tal Tawil. These villages are bombarded with cannons and heavy weapons, and guided drones of the Turkish occupation army hover over the region sky."
