​​​​​​​French Foreign Ministry: Turkey violates the Berlin Agreement on Libya

Net: The French military documented that Turkey continued to violate what was agreed upon during the "Berlin Conference" on Libya, by sending men and equipment for the benefit of certain parties in Libya, in a reference from the French-speaking government to Accord Government headed by Fayez al-Sarraj.

A spokeswoman for the French Foreign Ministry continued: "A while ago, there were clear actions by Turkey that did not respect its obligations to stop sending men and weapons to Libya. There are continuous Turkish supplies to this country, and our soldiers documented days before the Turks continued to deliver equipment to destinations in Libya.

She explained, "This is contrary to the obligations that were made during the Berlin Summit, and secondly, it is against the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations towards Libya."

French President Emmanuel Macron earlier accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of "not respecting his words" regarding ending foreign interference in the Libyan crisis, especially not to send Turkish ships carrying mercenaries to Libya.
